We build and operate automated factories for composite materials, delivering components to Tier 1 and OEMs. The business has 3 main divisions that focus on the development of automated production machines, development of software design and production tools and lastly the operation of the factory.
Now working with >25 customers (multiple leading OEMs) and earlier this year we completed the largest ever Series A in composites manufacturing (link) to fuel a significant scale-up with growth plans that will see the business multiply in size over the next 2-3 years and expand operations into Europe and the US.
With 2 facilities in the UK, 1 facility in Dayton (Ohio-US) and plans for a European R&D and manufacturing site, we are scaling rapidly to meet growing demand.

Position Summary:
The Store manager at iCOMAT plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring that materials and products are accurately received, stored, and dispatched to meet production schedules. The Store manager will work closely with the Operations and Procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure the timely availability of materials.
What will you be doing?
Inventory Management: Accurately record, label, and store all incoming materials, components, and finished goods in the warehouse. Regularly update inventory records using the company’s inventory management system.
Stock Control: Conduct perpetual stock checks and audits to ensure that inventory levels are accurate. Report any discrepancies or issues to the Operations team.
Order Fulfilment: Cover Kitting requirements in line with MRP, dispatching materials and components to production as required, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in order fulfilment.
Goods Receipt: Fully check out deliveries for damage, incorrect supply or shortages. Quarantine items requiring Quality Control Inspection until released by QC. Coordinate with the procurement team to resolve any issues.
Goods Storage: Ensure all goods are stored safely and in accordance with the suppliers or internal recommendations.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the warehouse environment is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times. Isolate and report any hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Manager.
Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move and store goods safely and efficiently.
Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes and inventory management practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and procurement, to support overall business objectives.
What do we need from you?
Proven experience as a Store’s person, Warehouse Operative, or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse processes.
Forklift certification and experience operating material-handling equipment is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manually lift and move objects up to a manageable weight, with no history of back complaints.
